FOEMINA

“Foemina” is the Latin word for woman.  The inspiration for this series comes from paintings by the famous Venetian artist, Carpaccio.  The voluptuous curve replicates a form found in the most luxurious palaces of Venice; the slender neck comes from a form commonly seen in Venetian chimneys.  The feminine beauty of Venetian architecture is reflected in this series.
